Taming The Cat is a 1948 Heckle and Jeckle cartoon.
We start this cartoon off with a Cat who is cleaning up the remains of a bird that he ate, And then he proceeds to put a "Song Birds Wanted" sign on the cage, Which attracts our two wise crackling chums, Heckle and Jeckle. In which they enter a house as they think it's a perfect spot for Hibernation during the winter time. The two then proceed to sing "A Couple of Songbirds Today". But the Cat catches the act and tells Heckle and Jeckle to put their heads down. But the two fool the Cat in putting his, A chase then ensues after that with one of the magpies pretending to be a female, Then the Cat ends up getting into a Trapeze act with the two. Which ends up causing the Cat to get into the chandiler in which he falls down after Heckle and Jeckle end up doing another act, We then fade in to Heckle and Jeckle on a Bicycle chasing after the Cat. In which the two end up trapping the Cat into a shower which proceeds to burst open and flood half of the house, Then the two use the Cat as a bunch of balls as they play a game of Pool. And for the climax, The two end up using a vaccum cleaner and a cigar to imitate a train. But that fails when the vaccum cleaner ends up exploding and proceeds to send the Cat into the Birdcage, In which Heckle and Jeckle proceed to reprise their song from the beginning, and the Cat joins in as well as the cartoon ends.
