Plot[]
A radio station is in the jungle playing various kinds of music. A short while later, they suddenly do a parody of the infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast, which scares everyone in the jungle--including the king!
Trivia[]
- Arthur Kay voices the Bert Lahr lion in the cartoon. The short was released the same year as the 1939 film adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.
- The entire cartoon is a parody of Orson Welles' infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast, which supposedly created mass hysteria when unsuspecting radio listeners tuned in and were fooled into thinking it was real.
